Definitions
For the purpose of this policy:
• “Salon” (referred to as either, “the salon”, “store”, “we”, “us, “our” in this Agreement) refers to Fusion Beauty Guildford.
• “Services” refers to the products & procedures offered for purchase in store.
• “Client” refers to the entity or entities having involvement with a service, this includes reserving an appointment, along with purchasing a service.
General Appointments
Note that the policies within this category are superseded by other categories if the appointment type is suitable for it.
Clients are asked to arrive to their appointments at their scheduled time. A grace period of 15 minutes will be provided for unseen delays. If a client requires additional time to arrive, they must notify the salon an hour prior to the time of their original appointment, it is up to the receptionist to decide if the appointment requires a reschedule, or cancellation.
Clients who have booked in days advanced are asked to confirm their appointments. If an appointment is not confirmed, the appointment may be subjected to cancellations.
Appointments with Requested/Reserved Technicians
Clients who have reserved a specific technician are asked to arrive to their appointments at their scheduled time.
If a client requires additional time to arrive, they must notify the salon an hour prior to the time of their original appointment, it is up to the requested technician to decide if the appointment requires a reschedule, or cancellation. A grace period of 5 minutes will be provided for unseen delays.
Clients who arrive past the grace period will still retain their appointment, however, the technician reserved for your services may be voided. Another technician could tend to your services instead.
Eyelash Appointments
Clients who have reserved an eyelash appointment are asked to confirm their appointments a day beforehand. If an appointment is not confirmed, the appointment may be subjected to cancellations.
A grace period of 5 minutes will be provided for unseen delays. If a client requires additional time to arrive, they must notify the salon an hour prior to the time of their original appointment, it is up to the receptionist to decide if the appointment requires a reschedule, or cancellation.
In the event a client wishes to cancel an eyelash appointment, the request must be sent one day before the scheduled appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows will require a deposit for future appointments.
Once a deposit has been paid, the amount will be deducted from your services during check-out. Deposits can only be refunded 12 hours before the scheduled appointment, refunding a deposit will result in the scheduled appointment to be cancelled.
Eyelash Mini-Refills
The costs of a Mini-Refill are equivalent to a 2 week refill with a 20% discount. For example, a Mini-Refill for a Classic Set is $70 – 20%($14) = $56 (Before taxes).
Certain requirements must be met to be eligible for a Mini-Refill:
• Eyelashes must have a minimum 50% retention.
• Discount does not apply to Request Appointments.
• Eyelashes are required to have been originally from our salon.
• Must be strictly within 13 days, exceptions cannot be made for this requirement.
Our mini-refills cancellation policy follows the standard eyelash appointment cancellation policy.
Nail File & Buffers
Some services require a file and buffer, (such as nail extensions) these items are purchasable from the salon for $3.00 CAD, (excluding taxes) for which the client is responsible for bringing to future appointments.
If a client forgets or loses the file and buffer, the package is purchasable again at the salon.
Service will be denied if a file and buffer are not present.
Regular Polish
Services that use a regular air dry polish require an extensive amount of time to dry and harden.
Due to these issues, it is up to the client to care for their nails after leaving the salon, the salon will charge to repair accidents for regular polish.
Points Card/Stamp Card
Our loyalty system, stamp cards are redeemable cards that provide a discount at checkout.
Types of Cards
Two different stamp cards are available at our salon:
- Black Stamp cards are for services priced at $40 or above, and provide a greater discount than Red Stamp cards.
- Red Stamp cards are for services priced at $25 or above.
Receiving a Stamp
A client receives a stamp when the requirement for the type of card has been met, there is a daily 1 stamp per visit limitation, per client. For groups, stamp cards can be added to one single card as long as each client is eligible for that type of card.
Stamps are not given for services undergoing a promotion.
Redeeming a Discount
To become eligible for a discount, several requirements must be met:
- All 8 slots must be stamped, a discount can be immediately redeemed when the 8th stamp is obtained. These stamps require a special signature along with an official stamp from our salon, cards mismatching these descriptions will be denied redemption.
- The discount only applies to nail services, this includes: all natural nail services, and nail enhancement services.
- The card must be fully present, and recognizable.
- No other promotion/discount is currently in effect.
Lost, Stolen or Forgotten Stamps
The salon is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unstamped cards, we will not backtrack or provide additional stamps for cards that have been lost, stolen or have a stamp missing from a previous appointment.
Although we try our best to ensure and remind clients to provide a card to stamp, in the event that a stamp has not been provided, notifying the salon within an hour after checkout may allow us to provide your missing stamp on your next visit.
Combining Cards
Combining stamp cards is allowed, however, we do not combine cards of different types.
